Restroom Procedures

1.  There are five rules that are to be used in the restrooms.

GO
FLUSH
WASH
TRASH
LEAVE

GO:  Unless teachers take their students as a whole group, only ONE student at a time may leave the classroom to use the restroom.

FLUSH:  Are you a flusher? YUCK, if you are not!!!!

WASH:  Model to students the correct way to wash hands. 1 squirt of soap, 1 pull for towel

TRASH:  All trash must go in the garbage can.  Use a restroom monitor to check bathroom after class is finished to assure cleanliness.

LEAVE:  Students must leave promptly.

 

Incorrect Bathroom Procedures

1. Not flushing the toilet.
2. Using too much soap
3. Using too many paper towels
4. Throwing paper towel on the floor
5. Playing in the water
6. Using loud voices
7. Going to the bathroom and walking out without washing your hands
8. Looking underneath other stalls when students are using the bathroom
