
Football parents: we will have a short parent meeting Aug 1st at 6:00 pm in the HS gym. Please try to attend if you can! If you can't make it, your kid is still eligible to play, we just want to make sure we are all starting on the same page! ITS ALMOST HERE!!!!


Athletes:We are 18 days away from getting started Please make sure to have your paperwork&physicals done before practice begins If you are an incoming 9/11 grade athlete you are required to get a physical prior to practice participation We have copies at morn workouts & at school

We will be able to do our youth football camp today at the football field! Look forward to working with these athletes one more day!

Youth football camp will be back in the gym for day 2 of camp. It's not ideal but I think the kids still had a lot of fun! Looking forward to working with your kiddos again today!

The youth football camp will move to the high school gym this morning due to potential rain. Hopefully we can get back on the field tomorrow!

All seniors need to attend graduation practice at the football field on Friday at 10am. They need to bring their caps, gowns, and the shoes they plan to wear during the ceremony. All junior ushers need to attend the practice, as well.


Join us at the Childress Elementary School cafeteria May 28-June 28, Monday-Thursday, 11:30am-1:00pm for FREE lunches for kids 18 years and younger! You are welcome to enjoy your meal at the school, or take it with you to go. Parent meals may be purchased for $4.75. The Friday meals will be sent home with kids who attend on Thursdays. We look forward to seeing you and serving you this summer!

In light of the tragic loss of one of our students, Chanson Carr, Childress Junior High 8th Grader, today in a car accident, our hearts are heavy with grief. Our deepest condolences go out to the family and friends affected by this devastating loss. We stand together as a community in support during this difficult time, offering our love, strength, and resources to all those in need of comfort and assistance. We will have counselors available on campuses Monday to offer services to students and staff. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Don't forget! CJHS Immunization Clinic is today at the CJHS library from 3-5pm! Parents must be present and bring your insurance card as well!
